When I was beginning to learn pole dancing, the hardest part was deciding what moves to learn first. The few people that I knew that pole danced gave me loads of advice on where to start but none of them were instructors and they didn't really know a step by step way of going from knowing zero to having a little confidence about knowing some moves.
So here I have listed some of the easiest and hottest moves to master for the beginner. You can start at the top of the list and work your way down or pick the ones that grab you right off. The most important thing is just to get moving. Learn a move till you feel confident then learn another. Later we'll get to transitional moves so you can smoothly move from one pole dance position to another like a trained pro.
